VINTAGE ~ L E SMITH ~ MOON & STARS ~ RED & AMBER ~ RUFFLED/SCALLOPED ~ GLASS COMPOTE PEDESTAL BOWL
CONDITION:
This beautiful Red Pedestal Bowl was part of my Aunt's collection and is in near perfect condition.  The only mark I can find on the whole dish is in one spot around the top that I could only see it with a magnifying glass.  There are two or three small scratches and a spot that could either be a very small chip or a glass default from the factory.  I cannot tell.  I have tried to take a picture but it simply will not focus well enough to show the scratch.  Otherwise, free of any other flaws that I can see.  This dish has been kept behind a glass enclosed cabinet and has been well taken care of in a smoke-free, pet-free environment.
DESCRIPTION:
This is a beautiful red glass pedestal dish. round shaped with a ruffled, scalloped edge around the top.  The bottom of the pedestal is amber colored glass;
Large enough for fruit, candies, or even a flower arrangement;
There is no mark but believed to be LE Smith and pattern "Moon & Stars";
Approximate measurements are:  7" Tall; 8" wide across top of dish; Base measures 3 3/4" wide;
